Colors of Sumba

After watching a documentary about poverty and lack of nutrition in Sumba, Indonesia in Sunday school, I took the initiative to improve health of children in that island. Summer of 2015, I reached out to Vitamin Angels, a US-based healthcare NGO, and the Gereja Kristen Sumba (Christian Church of Sumba) to establish a Vitamin A distribution network. Since then, my vitamin project has provided Vitamin A for more than 4,000 children in Sumba. Through "Colors of Sumba," I hope to share the enriching and humbling experience in Sumba that I have captured through my lens for the past two years.
